Knockout™ Kills Rust and Leaves a Primed, Paintable Surface!
I want to get a quick word out about Knockout™, our new rust converter and primer system.
First, there are other systems that convert rust. Acid-based converters are nothing new. However, Encore has created a completely new type of rust converter. It’s water-based, making it safe to use. It stays on the substrate. It converts within seconds. It dries within minutes. It can be top-coated right away. The applications are far-reaching.
Knockout™ was initially developed as a solution for treating rusted fasteners on wood decks. But when we saw how well it performed, we saw the potential for other applications. - It can be brushed, rolled, or sprayed onto horizontal, vertical, and overhead surfaces. When sprayed onto overhead surfaces, Knockout™ remains in place and will not drip.
- Within seconds, rust is chemically converted back to black steel. It’s dry within minutes of being applied.
- Once dry, it leaves a primed, paintable, clear acrylic finish.
- It’s a 100% solution for killing rust and priming the surface.
For years, homeowners have faced the challenge of dealing with fasteners that rust and bleed through the overlying paint.
